What to Avoid
Bruises and hard or soft spots. Pulp color and texture should be free of any dark spots or streaks.

Selection
All varieties have green skins; Hass avocados should be purple-black in skin color.

Refrigeration
Unripe - countertop. When ripe - refrigerate until ready to use.
